Purpose of the Post:

The purpose of this post is to support the business achieve its growth ambitions through the development, implementation and ongoing management of our Investment and Growth Strategy. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring our Investment and Growth Strategy is achieving the desired results and reporting back to the leadership team on monthly, quarterly and annual performance.

The day-to-day requirements will be focused on maintaining an accurate and informative set of management accounts, ensuring cash flow is as expected and all accounts are reconciled as required. The post holder will be responsible for gathering, analysing and reporting on various analytics and success measures.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Active and consistent input into the development and implementation of the Finance Strategy
  • Undertake cost-benefit analysis for financial investments
  • Close working with the Training Team to ensure payments, cash flow and accounts are controlled adequately
  • Posting sales invoices, credit notes, bank transactions and purchase invoices to Sage
  • Bank reconciliations, bookkeeping, accurate data input? and working with Excel spreadsheets and cloud software
  • Development and preparation of Management Accounts
  • Ensuring client records are accurately maintained?
  • Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc client and admin projects and tasks?
  • Use of Fast Line's Learner Management System (AccessPlanIt) to ensure all payments are collected

  • Highly motivated, outgoing and willing to learn
  • Excellent level of numeracy and written English
  • Experience in digital marketing and/or social media
  • Able to prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Able to prioritise own workload, self-motivated and capable of working flexibly and to strict deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team
