My client, a specialist education provider within the business sector who are Ofsted Grade 2 are seeking a Health and Social Care Trainer Assessor on a full time permanent basis.

The trainer assessor will be covering the local areas to the M4 corridor and the company are recruiting due to a significant rise in student numbers.

The learners are apprentices therefore mainly 16- 19 year olds and are based in companies, they are doing apprenticeships in Health and Social Care (up to level 5 if can) and also Clinical Care (if the applicant can do this that would be an advantage). The companies KPI is to visit 2 students a day (10 student visits a week), giving plenty of admin time at home the rest of the time for the paperwork. They alternate between 1 face to face visit and 1 online remote visit. It will be a case of managing own number of learners and diary. The students submit their reports and essays online.

Due to the present situation- my client are happy to take people on ASAP from a telephone interview and skype interview, then initially the students will be trained and assessed online and then once things have returned to normal, the trainer can go out to visit the students.

Qualities needed to be considered:

Ideally a level 5 in Health and Social Care, client would consider level 3

Ideally experience in Clinical Care

You must have your Assessors qualification

Access to a car and driving licence, and also preferable experience in work-based learning/ assessing.

You must live somewhere around the M4 corridor, so ideally- Slough, Bracknell, Reading, Swindon, Bristol/ Bath, but be willing to travel to the other locations. As stated above, the assessor will not be visiting the learners every week so if you are flexible with working from home and travelling when required to then these locations would be perfect.
