Junior Investment Manager, Successful European Mid-Market Fund, Munich

Our client is an established mid-market firm that has been active in the European market for over 20 years. The firm has a highly differentiated investment approach offering complete financing flexibility to entrepreneurs running healthy companies across multiple sectors.
Their activity in the DACH region has been growing and they are now consolidating their presence by opening an office in Munich. An experienced new partner is already on board and building a deal pipeline and we are now looking to expand the team with an additional hire at Associate level. Further team hires are expected in the medium term.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Active participation in deal origination, pitches and management meetings
- Focus on financial and commercial analysis, models, due diligence and all aspects of deal execution
- Contribute to the ongoing development of portfolio companies
- Strong academic record
- Initial leveraged finance experience & training within a leading consultancy or investment bank; candidates at associate level within other private equity firms would also be considered
- Top of class research, analytical and quantitative skills with an entrepreneurial eye
- Equally important, you must bring excellent interpersonal skills and be a natural communicator
- Self-starter: you show initiative and are comfortable in a flat organisation structure, seeking early responsibility
- Native-level German language skills and fluency in English
