Our client a well-respected and reputable professional body is currently looking for an Apprenticeship & Education Officer.

To be responsible for the administration of the institute's Apprenticeship programmes (Level 7 and Level 4 respectively), ensuring successful delivery of the End-Point Assessments (EPA), the issuing of the results and liaison with appropriate stakeholders. Effective administrative support for institute students particularly in relation to the institute exams.

Key Responsibilities

To prepare and produce documentation for any quality audit and inspections and to be the main point of contact for all such visits.

To be able to fully explain and respond to queries on apprenticeships to a range of audiences including employers, apprentices, prospective apprentices, tuition providers and colleagues internally.

To invigilate for the EPA Role Simulation in the London venue.

Send EPA material from Apprentices for marking to Independent Assessors (or alert them that it is available in the electronic marking platform) and be their main point of contact; organising payment for them on a regular basis.

Liaise with the Apprenticeship Lead Examiner as required, together with any third-party consultants as necessary.

To ensure appropriate information is available on the websites and for meetings working with others as appropriate.

To attend internal and external meetings regarding the Apprenticeships, build effective relationships with all stakeholders.

Matters relating to students, exams and administration and relevant work.

Responding to student queries.

Ensuring accurate recording of data where appropriate.

Administration related to extended essays.

Assistance with end-to-end administration of the exam process, with particular responsibility for administering exam preparation, marking processes, candidate communications, publication of results, exam records and statistics.

Managing exam withdrawals due to special circumstances.

Acting as Secretary to Examination Sub-Committee meetings, preparing agendas, papers and minutes and liaising with Sub-Committee membership.

Managing post-exam result circumstances.

Help as required with exam invigilation.

Such other duties relating to students, education and examinations as may be assigned by the Director of Education, for example assisting with Education Committee meetings.

Experience and Knowledge

Experience in Apprenticeship and EPA or End Point Assessments is essential

Professional Membership Body is essential.

Methodical in approach with excellent attention to detail

Ability to effectively organise own workload and prioritise tasks.

Ability to analyse problems and propose solutions, communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
