Apprenticeship Trainer- Heavy Vehicle Manchester, Lancashire £32k - £34k (p.a)

Due to significant growth we are now looking for experienced Apprenticeship Trainer/Assessors.

Summary of duties and responsibilities for the Apprenticeship Trainer/Assessor-Light and Heavy Vehicle:
- Location: Manchester
- You will be responsible for a caseload of learners which will include delivering qualifications in a classroom based setting as well as a one to one basis
- You will assess and support learners to achieve their Apprenticeship in Light and Heavy Vehicle Engineering and Maintenance
- Complete all relevant paperwork using the electronic process to ensure a learner is signed up/achieves/leaves according to procedures
- Plan the end point assessment process with learners and employers, ensuring preparation and practice is included in the learning plan
- Conduct regular reviews of progress with both the learner and employer
- Support the learner to complete level 2 Maths and English functional skills where required
- Evidence learner progress through the use of Onefile e-portfolio system
- Ensure all Health and Safety, Safeguarding procedures are adhered to
Skills and experience require for the Apprenticeship Trainer/Coach- Heavy Vehicle Maintenance:
- Hold a relevant assessing qualification (TAQA/A1)
- Ideally hold a recognised Teaching Qualification e.g. PTLLS, Award in Education and Training
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician with either Light or Heavy Vehicles
- Prior experience in an Assessor/Trainer role, delivering work based apprenticeship qualifications in Vehicle Maintenance
- Flexibility to meet employer and learners needs
