Trainee Building Services Engineer Hyde, Cheshire £20k - £25k (p.a)
BUILDING SERVICES TECHNICIAN
Our client is a well established, professional yet friendly building services consultancy with a strong mechanical & electrical division.
They are looking for a competent building services AutoCad technician who has strong drawing skills with mechanical and electrical services.
You will produce mechanical drawings for the built environment which will include heating, ventilation and air conditioining services.
Alongside drawing duties you will also get involved with:
* liasing with manufacturers
* co-ordinating services with other disciplines
* assessing spreadsheets
* sourcing correct M&E equipment and sizes
* getting information from manufacturers, clients and other construction parties.
You will be competent on 2d AutoCad but if you had REVIT experience that would be advantageous.
The company are a small to medium sized firm who have expanded steadily over the past 8 years and now work out of smart offices in the Hyde area.
They are a friendly team with a relaxed yet professional working environment.
They work with architects, main contractors, M&E contractors, property professionals, investors, landlords and tenants.
You will be a proven 2D AutoCAD Technician in the building services sector and will be equally at home producing mechanical and electrical drawings.
If you can understand building layouts and have experience within an office fit out environment this will be an advantage.
They will explain the design brief and drawing requirements for each project. There may be a need to modify designs where necessary and use the relevant design software to expediate this process
