Civil (Site) Engineer - Degree or Higher Apprenticeship - South East Winchester, Hampshire

What will the apprentice be doing?

You will spend most of your time in Hampshire, however, you will need to be prepared to rotate across our projects based in Surrey (Guildford) and Greater London (M25). You will learn various processes, including surveying and setting out, quality control, programme, procurement, supply chain and aspects of commercial management

You will learn to work with a range of software and digital engineering tools such as CAD Autodesk, VR, GPS and EDM (electronic distance measurement).

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Through day or block release, Skanska will provide support and funding to help you achieve a Level 4 or Level 6 (depending on your existing qualifications) in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Site Management.

You will be assigned an experienced mentor to support your learning journey

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

We will provide support to work towards Incorporated membership with the Institution of Civil Engineers following successful completion of your academic qualification, on an Approved ICE Training scheme.

You will progress into an Assistant Civil Engineer position within the team or wider Skanska when you complete your apprenticeship.
