Civil (Site) Engineer - Degree or Higher Apprenticeship - South West Oxford, Oxfordshire

You will gain practical experience in our design, project management, construction and operations teams. You will be part of the efforts to keep Oxfordshire moving. You will work in various teams to support the design and planning of a range of highway & bridge maintenance, asset management, and highway improvement projects. You will assist with undertaking site visits, surveys and investigations, prepare scheme designs, drawings and documents using a range of design software.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Through day release to Coventry University, Skanska will provide support and funding to help you achieve a Level 6-degree (BEng or BSc) qualification in Civil Engineering.

You will be assigned an experienced mentor to support your learning journey

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

We will provide support to work towards Incorporated membership with the Institution of Civil Engineers following successful completion of your academic qualification, on an Approved ICE Training scheme.

You will progress into an Assistant Civil Engineer position within the team or wider Skanska when you complete your apprenticeship.
