Early Years & Teaching Assistant Apprenticeships

Are you interested in working with babies and/or children? Perhaps you want to work with 0-5's and would enjoy working in a Nursery? Would you like to work in a school and become a qualified Teaching Assistant? Have you considered an Apprenticeship?

We are looking for hardworking and passionate candidates who are keen to work with babies/children or young people as either Nursery Assistants or TA's in Penrith. We have positions available for September 2020 which are full time, Monday to Friday with day release to study in our classroom with our dedicated specialist trainers so you gain the theory to underpin your hands on experience.

These TA and Early Years apprenticeships are fabulous opportunities and a great way to start your career, with the potential to progress upon completion of your Apprenticeship. With System People you can work, earn a wage and study to gain a qualification which will assist you gain a permanent role upon graduation. Our Apprenticeships are a min of 12 months in length and involve you completing the appropriate Level 2 or Level 3 apprenticeship. With this route you will really get the opportunity from day one to work with the children in your care to develop their reading skills, increase their confidence with writing and group activities. Entry Requirements

• To be considered for the early Years or TA Apprenticeships you will be keen to begin an appropriate qualification to gain knowledge and understanding of what it takes to work in your chosen field. This will be a Level 2 or a Level 3 qualification.
• You will hold a Grade 4 or above at GCSE (equiv of a Level 2 Functional Skills or old Grade C at GCSE) in Maths or English and at least a Grade 3 in the other. You will need to achieve a Grade 4 in both before you can reach Gateway and complete your apprenticeship.
