JOB TITLE: Junior Web Developer
LOCATION: Newcastle
SALARY: £22,000 - £28,000 (DOE)
An opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail to work along side a team of Web Developers, due to increasing demand of web projects.
DUTIES
- Coding designs into fully functioning websites
- Liaising with design team to ensure mock-ups are built to specification
- Proactively maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, coding practices and opportunities for own development
- Supporting clients and Technical SEO team with web development activity and troubleshooting
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of WordPress
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks, such as bootstrap
- PHP
- HTML5 (including understanding of semantic layout principles)
- CSS (SASS)
- JavaScript
- Experience of working with Adobe Suite
DESIRED SKILLS
- Gulp
- Experience with version control GIT / SourceTree
- Atomic Design principles
EXPERIENCE
