Engineering Apprentice
We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Apprentice to join the Engineering Team.
Join us as an Engineering Apprentice and you can be a part of the ambitious team that brings Avara Foods to life.
Purpose of the role
Merging practical experience with skills-based learning, our apprenticeships are designed to kick-start your career.
Our apprenticeship programme offers you the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience, where you will combine college based learning with on-the-job training. You will work alongside experts, on real projects that shape our future, and you will have a mentor who will support you throughout the programme.
What the Engineer Apprenticeship programme entails:
• A 4-year multi-skilled, modern apprenticeship
• Qualification will be Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3
• 3 key stages to the apprenticeship
-Stage 1: Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
-Stage 2: Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering covering 750 guided learning hours
-Stage 3: Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering covering assessment of competence in the workplace
What you will need for a successful application:
• Entry requirements onto scheme will be through application and interview
• Minimum qualifications are 5 GCSE's grade C or above including; Math's, English and a Science
• Apprenticeship commences in September 2020
We offer permanent contracts from day one. In addition, we pay at least the adult National Living Wage, together with offering competitive benefits.
