Entry Level Assembly Newport, Vermont
Adecco is currently recruiting for Assembly jobs in Newport, VT. We are currently seeking candidates interested in temp to hire opportunities!
Shifts: Multiple 12-hour shifts to choose from!
Pay: $12 (15% shift differential for nights)
Responsibilities for Assembler jobs include but are not limited to:
Ability to assemble record and pack helmets. Interpret written Work Instructions (WI) and revisions thereof. Ensure production documentation is accurate and complete. Knowledge of Part Numbers, Work Order Number identification, and size/style variations associated with Shells and Helmets. Draw supplies and work from production area. Inspect shells for defects. Ability to identify nonconforming product and remove the defective product, place onto Rework Racks, or into Non-Conformance bins, as needed. Operate an adhesive disk taping machine, pneumatic hand tools, computer, photo copier and tape dispensing machine. Verify chinstrap hole diameter. Install retention hardware, chinstraps and pads. Inspect work. Weigh and record helmet production, label, wrap and package helmets. Comply with safety rules involving use, care and disposal of hazardous waste. Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Assembler jobs:
Ability to utilize mathematical skills necessary, add, subtract, multiply and divide. Attention to detail and meet deadlines. Communication skills to participate in discussions and provide ideas, feedback and suggestions for process improvements. Ability to work in a team environment and adjust to changing situations. Must be able to prioritize work with minimal supervision. Ability to stand for 12-hour shift Ability to lift a maximum of 35lbs
