The Role

This industry leading company are expanding their technical team due to winning high profile contracts overseas and are looking to train a passionate engineer to grow with the business. This is a very niche business with cutting edge technology where specific training will be provided which will suit newly qualified electronic/mechanical/marine engineers, or those with a passion for the industry. The work will be split between on site locations and working in the workshop.

Duties will include

  • Testing and fault finding of electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Installing and refurbishment of products
  • Operating electrical and computer controlled equipment
  • Assisting with design and assembly of new products
  • Electrical wiring
  • Travelling internationally to attend site visits
  • Assisting in warehouse duties such as stock control, dispatch and incoming shipments.

The Ideal Candidate

As this is a trainee role the company are not expecting someone to join them with a lot of work based experience as they are looking to find someone they can develop. The ideal candidate will…

  • Demonstrate a passion for engineering, with some hands on experience
  • Ideally hold relevant technical/engineering qualifications
  • An appetite for learning and continued development
  • Enthusiasm to collaborate with others
  • Fit and able to lift 25kg loads
  • Ideally a full and clean driving licence or willingness to learn to drive quickly
