The role:
Junior Sous Chef required for a Country House Hotel in the middle of the New Forest and can offer live in staff accommodation if needed…

The hotel has its own bar - the Colonial Bar - with its own entrance and there is a newly refurbished contemporary restaurant within the hotel.

It's a perfect self-contained getaway - the local village which is just a short stroll away; as is the railway station, with connections to mainline railway stations Southampton and Bournemouth.

With 38 bedrooms, all en-suite with a selection of doubles, twin and single rooms.

Your main responsibilities as Junior Sous Chef will include:

' Running a section within the kitchen, deputising in absence of Sous Chef
' Producing dishes to meet the required standard
' Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
' Supervising the other Chefs in the Kitchen

What you need to get the job of Junior Sous Chef:

' Experience at Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef level in a similar establishment
' Qualified to NVQ Level 1 and 2 or Equivalent
' Experience cooking with fresh produce and to a high standard
' Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and progress

The Reward:

' Salary of £24,000 - £25,000 + Tips
' Live in staff accommodation if needed
