This school is a vibrant and busy place, serving a very diverse community. Children and families comment on how friendly the school is. We pride ourselves on how well staff are supported and encouraged. With a large leadership team, PPA takes place in teams and planning is joint and creative.
The OfSTED quote above shows how we work effectively as a team, supporting each other. Support staff are included in all our CPD and have weekly tailored sessions. We buy into three different CPD packages to ensure high quality training for all staff. External supervision is also available for staff. A personal trainer comes to school twice a week and runs classes for staff.
The successful Graduate Trainee Teacher will:
Be able to relate to children of all abilities, you will of course be able to teach the most able and offer challenge in your lessons, (in time) being able to design and deliver engaging and purposeful lessons
is a must.

* Have a GCSE Grade C or 4 in Mathematics and English Language
* Be passionate about teaching and making a difference to young people
* Have the presence and character to relate to the students at Primary School
