ACA training is highly varied and demanding and the training scheme has no 'typical' day. Nevertheless, we have tried to give you an overview of your training and an idea of the type of work you can expect to be involved in at the different stages of your studies.
There are three components to training in the Nottingham team;
The most obvious element is the need to study for and pass the professional exams. This role will be a Level 7 Apprenticeship programme, which means all your costing for the ICAEW will be funded for you. The firm also provides full support towards your examinations and study leave, for the first attempts at all the exams and assessments that go towards the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) qualification. With first time passes it takes three years to complete your studies. Tuition is given by one of the leading external providers.
We will invest in your training not simply to help you to pass examinations, but to help your development as a true business professional. The key elements of your initial training will be:
There is no denying that the professional examinations are tough and to succeed requires commitment and determination. We give you a large amount of practical support and encouragement but, at the end of the day, the will to succeed must come from you.
