The HR intern is responsible for performing and/or assisting with all human resources related functions at the franchise. This role provides the unique opportunity to gain experience in recruiting, hiring, employee relations, and training.

Responsibilities
- Manage candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Assist in the hiring process by processing employment applications, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, and sending rejection/offer letters to candidates
- Assemble/disassemble new hire and terminated employee files
- File regulated paper work
- Complete background checks and employment verifications
- Develop and create new recruiting content
- Prepare new hire orientation packets and assist with new hire orientation
- Assist in benefit administration
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field is required
- Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills
- Accurate, consistent attention to detail
- Strong team player who works productively with a wide range of people and personalities
- Must be proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, and Excel
