Position: Content Developer Intern

iBOS is the world's pioneering independent British online secondary school and sixth form college based in Hammersmith, London. We teach the full-time UK curriculum to international Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students globally via interactive and live online video lessons. During the first academic year of the school (Phase 1), we will have a cohort of year 10 and 12 students studying iGCSE/GCSEs and A Levels respectively, where students are able to choose from a range of EBacc subjects that we have on offer. In our second year (Phase 2) we aim to also teach from Key Stage 3.

Our school was founded by a group of senior education leaders in 2019 and led by Dr. Farshad Mohammadi, a senior education consultant and former senior advisor to the Minister for Education and Families. We are on the look-out for a content developer intern to join our team, who mainly has creative digital marketing skills and experience in graphics design. We are keen to invest in bright new talent to start at the grass roots of our company and learn the ropes, while continually building and improving on their reputation as a valuable member of the team. We are offering both part-time and full-time internships for the role, lasting up to 6 months, with the opportunity of extending the internship or making the successful candidate a permanent member of our staff team after the minimum term has concluded. In addition to the responsibilities set out below, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to travel to iBOS offices in a variety of different countries and work closely with our Regional Education Representatives and Sales Consultants.


Responsibilities:

- Implementing both digital and content marketing strategies, and assisting the marketing team in creating and executing effective strategies by utilising a wide range of engaging marketing content, email and landing pages to develop powerful and thoughtful campaigns

- Work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager to produce engaging content, including high quality photo ads, videos/animations and short articles

- Working closely with the Senior Management team regarding ongoing development of our brand and marketing strategies, using data and creative insight to suggest improvements and drive business change

- Assisting with various marketing promotions that will aid in increasing customer interaction, and accurately measuring successes to make vital improvements on the company's performance

- Help build followers and increase engagement across all social media channels, including creating and boosting content

- Monitoring and analysing the progress, and assisting in fine-tuning, of marketing campaigns

- Working with the sales team to provide lead growth and customer engagement, growing market services to existing and prospective clients

- Undertaking SEO projects

- Assisting with website content management

- Undertaking research projects

- Having general admin duties

Essential attributes and skills:

- Good knowledge of and experience with digital marketing channels, including media design and development with Facebook, Instagram and YouTube content systems

- Photoshop and graphic design skills

- Video editing and production skills

- Experience in marketing and content development

- Microsoft office literate

- Excellent command of written English and grammar

Desirable attributes, skills and characteristics:

- Experience with Google and YouTube Ads, Facebook Ads and Facebook Business Manager
