Junior Graphic Designer Vancouver, British Columbia (BC)

Klohn Crippen Berger's Marketing Group in Vancouver has an immediate opening for a part-time (3 days per week) in-house Junior Graphic Designer. You will work closely with and support the Marketing Lead, Marketing Team, and other teams to fulfill the company's brand image and direction. Initiative, enthusiasm and commitment to technical excellence are all important qualities of our team members.

This role will give you the opportunity to:
  • Conceptualize and create exceptional designs for both printed and digital marketing materials, including but not limited to:
    • Company brochures and services sheets
    • Digital content such as website and intranet landing pages, banners, etc.
    • Social media assets - gifs, videos, etc.
    • Corporate presentations
    • Print ads
    • Emails
    • Digital display ads
    • Event and conference marketing material - banners, flyers, and signage
Skills:
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, in particular InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Familiar with WordPress, HTML/CSS experience preferred
  • Knowledge of typography, color theory, and composition
  • Familiar with artistic mediums related to print and digital technology
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Photography skills are a bonus
  • SharePoint experience is a bonus
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • 1 year of agency experience is great but if fresh out of school be ready to hit the ground running
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a clearly-articulated creative vision
