Junior Mechanical Engineer Cambridge, Cambridgeshire £25k - £30k (p.a)
My Client based in Cambridge is looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer on a permanent basis.
The role will be office and site based.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a mechanical engineering environment. Ventilation, ductwork or mechanical building services. Experience of working of large commercial project would be an advantage. Able to read from site drawings and do take off's from the drawings.
The following experience would be very beneficial
- CAD Design
- Background in construction building services
- Experience of working with Mechanical contractors
- Be aware of or familiar with current industry standards and specifications relevant to mechanical or ventilation systems.
- Good communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to represent the best interests of the company in direct dealings with clients, labour force and subcontractors.
- A conscientious, positive and reliable attitude to performing the task.
- Understanding of companys contractual obligations.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong analytical and logical skills
Start would be immediate subject to the security check can take 2 days to 2 weeks to pass
Work days are Monday to Friday 40hours times will be discussed in interview which would be on site.
