Legal Apprenticeship - Paralegal Bristol, Somerset £13k (p.a)

Lyons Davidson is a national law practice of around 900 employees operating from offices in Bristol, Solihull, Leeds, New Malden and Cardiff, and our associated practice in Edinburgh, Lyons Davidson Scotland LLP. We also have employees based in our onsite client offices in Folkestone and Whitstable.

We are a full service legal Company committed to delivering high-quality professional services in a cost-effective and approachable manner to institutions, businesses and individuals.

We currently have a number of fantastic opportunities to join our Legal Services Company as a Legal Apprentice and develop a professional career within law. You will complete a Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship over a two year period. You will be based in our Bristol office.

This is an exciting opportunity to achieve a nationally recognised legal qualification in an environment that provides support, training and practical work experience.

As a Legal Apprentice you will progress to manage your own caseload of client cases using our in-house case management system. This caseload will be built up as you learn and gain experience.

You will communicate with clients and various third parties, by telephone and through written correspondence, and will learn to progress each case through the necessary stages.

Through mentoring and training you will develop your confidence in providing effective legal advice to clients, and the training that you receive on the job and as part of your qualification will help you understand the relevant law and legal processes.

This opportunity is a good alternative to going to university, where you will achieve a Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification with the potential for further qualifications in the future.
