Trainee Legal Conveyancer Exeter, Devon £16k - £18k (p.a)

An opportunity has arisen for someone to join a busy legal conveyancing team in Exeter. The company would ideally like to find someone with some conveyancing experience, but are also open to considering people with a genuine interest in property law, who are looking for a long term career within the industry. We are after someone who can demonstrate stability and someone who will be keen to stay long-term and settle within the business. There will be longer term opportunities to grow and develop your career, while benefiting from excellent training and support from the team around you.
Tasks will include:
- Supporting customers with the legal processes for completing plot sales, part-exchanges and purchases
- Building working relationships with other solicitors' firms
- Preparing of documents and paperwork relating to the estates
- Sending out documentation to third parties
- Monitoring the files to ensure the process moves along at the right speed
- Managing the transfer or lease process
Skills and experience required:
- Previous conveyancing experience would be desirable, although not essential
- Someone with a genuine interest (and wants a long term career) in property law
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
