Trainee Machine Operator £10 - £13 (p.a)
Trainee Machine Operators wanted. Our manufacturing client based in Newhaven are looking for trainee machine operators to join their team on a permanent basis. Trainee Machine Operative - The Role:
* To operate semi-automated machines at the correct rate in order to assist or complete the manufacturing of finished product, sub-assemblies and components.
* Maintain product quality standards in line with QA specifications.
* Play an active role in maintaining housekeeping standards to ensure everyone's safety and adherence to the company's 5S program
* Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment
* To work as part of a team to help and support othersand provide proactive communication to highlight problems or opportunities for improvement
Trainee Machine Operative - Requirements:
* Have some experience in a manufacturing environment or a college / Uni experience in a engineering related course
* Must have good written and spoken English skills
* Flexible with working hours
Hours: 4on / 4off, with days, afternoons and nights. Hours do include weekday and some weekends
Pay: Basic of £9.92, Nights offers a premium of time and a third, weekends offers time and a half (£14.88)
