Role Summary:

As a Sales & Marketing Intern, you will receive support and training to develop valuable, hands-on Sales and Marketing experience, guided by our Sales and Marketing leaders. You will collaborate on and contribute to the team-wide efforts to grow our client base and protect life and property while also gaining exposure to additional business areas within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify and engage sales leads as part of new business development efforts
  • Facilitate new business growth by connecting with existing customers and sharing new products
  • Compile and coordinate packages for prospective customers
  • Contribute to branding and advertising projects
  • Identify new business opportunities through research on social media
  • Analyze industry websites, publications and newsletters
  • Engage and present on weekly activities and accomplishments in Sales & Marketing and Inside Sales Meetings
  • Participate in and provide support to special projects in the Sales & Marketing department
Basic Qualifications:
  • Current enrollment in a four-year collegiate degree program in business or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A dynamic combination of strategic, analytical and creative skills.
  • Reliable, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in customer service, sales and/or marketing.
  • Bilingual or Spanish speaking ability.
