East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) supports families and cares for children and young people with life threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Volunteer Coordinator - Milton, Cambridgeshire
37.5 hours per week, Full-Time
Circa £19,000 per annum

This unique role is an exciting opportunity to plan, deliver and review volunteers and training in collaboration with the volunteer Manager and EACH locality teams.

As Volunteer Coordinator you will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting volunteers who will provide practical support to families in their own home, maintaining effective and appropriate personal boundaries with families and volunteers at all times. You will be responsible for undertaking initial interviews with the families to assess their volunteer support needs.

You will also have the opportunity to share your volunteer expertise with your EACH colleagues, and to support other volunteer projects to meet the needs of EACH families.

To be considered for this role, you must have a willingness to work evenings and weekends, plus have a full driver's license and your own transport.
