POSITION: Water Treatment Engineer, Junior ACOP L8 Risk Assessor
SALARY: £23,000 - £28,000 basic plus overtime, company vehicle, excellent growth prospects, training to become a full ACOP L8 Risk Assessor, pension, expense account, bonuses
LOCATION: Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Northampton, Bedfordshire, Essex, North London
To be suitable for this role you must have experience of water treatment, water monitoring, tank cleans, chlorination and pipework descales. Experience completing basic ACOP L8 risk assessments would be useful, as would any experience of sampling from boilers and completing on site chemical analysis.
The company was established over 20 years ago with a view to offering excellent customer service, top notch technical training to their teams and wherever possible a recognisable growth path for everyone in the company. They are entering an exciting new phase of their growth plans with the water treatment division receiving a big boost in investment and personnel.
Current plans are for a water treatment engineer to join the team covering the northern home counties, taking in part of the M11, part of the M1 and top of the M25, completing sampling, testing, tank cleans, chlorination, some remedials including descales, minor plumbing, initially assisting on larger projects including tank replacements or larger remedial works with an eye on training you to be able to complete some ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Clients include healthcare, education, government departments, emergency services, local authorities, retail, leisure, hospitality with a nice mix of large and small business to deal with.
Due to the nature of the business you will need some experience in water treatment to be considered for the role, however, they will spend a lot of time mentoring, refining, and improving your skills.
