Junior Buyer Sandy, Bedfordshire £20k - £24k (p.a)
Our client, a local manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Junior Buyer on a permanent basis. We are keen to speak to Junior Buyers with at least 6 months to 1 year experience within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment.
My client is offering an excellent training, looking to progress a Junior Buyer into a fully skilled Buyer - Which in return will increase your salary and skillset.
As the Junior Buyer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing materials and negotiating rates
- Placing and chasing orders
- Chasing delivery companies regarding deliveries
- Keeping the database up to date
- Ensuring stock levels are correct and maintained
- Attending supplier meetings
Ideally you will have buying experience within a manufacturing or engineering business. However, our client is willing to train the right person whom has worked in a different capacity within buying or purchasing.
Our client offers a fun and supportive working environment with a responsible and safe attitude towards socially distanced working.
Working hours - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
