Junior Developer

Our client has seen exceptional growth in the demand for their websites and apps and is now in a position to expand the team and step up to the meet that demand. We are therefore looking to find an accountable and ambitious Junior Developer to join the office-based team in their Gloucestershire HQ.

The team works to achieve long term partnerships with their clients, who are some of the most significant blue chip names in the UK. They work across diverse industries to deliver out-the-box digital solutions for their clients - alongside designing, building and maintaining web portals and web applications.

To expand the team they are looking for someone who can hit the floor running and isn't shy to get stuck into the projects they are involved with. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and hardworking developer to grow their skills and move their career onto a new level. Essential skills:

• 2+ years experience and relevant undergraduate degree
• Portfolio of work building software solutions for web, desktop and mobile
• Advanced knowledge of C#, JavaScript and SQL
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3
• Experience of using cloud hosting
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms
• Experience of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including Angular with Typescript
• Keen to develop knowledge of AngularJS, Angular, React, .Net Web API

Desirable Skills:

• Familiar in working in Scrum teams and happy to actively contribute
• Solid understanding of web security
• Experience of working with APIs and developing custom work
• Ability to manage your time effectively and deliver work to agreed timescales
• Experience of responsive design & a keen eye for design
