Junior DevOps Engineer - CI/CD, Cloud, Docker

Kidderminster - £30,000 - £35,000

I am looking for a naturally talented and eager to learn Junior DevOps Engineer who is sought by an award-winning digital team in a Creative Digital and Communications agency.

The successful Junior DevOps Engineer will work closely alongside the Lead DevOps Engineer and liaise with the Developers, Testers, Designers and Project Managers to help ensure the performance of their key systems, including their Infrastructure and Applications. The Junior DevOps Engineer will also help perform on-going System Administration tasks for both local and remote digital Servers, including fault tolerant systems and configuration management

The successful Junior DevOps Engineer will have experience with the following:

• Knowledge of building and deploying CI/CD Pipelines
• Previous experience with PHP
• Experience with maintaining Cloud-based Environments
• Working knowledge of Version Control Systems (GIT)
• Containerisation knowledge - Docker/Kubernetes
• Cloud Platform experience - AWS/Microsoft Azure
• Configuration management systems - Ansible
• A real passion to learn and apply new technologies in a commercial environment

Other Requirements

• Able to travel to different sites
• Driving licence
