Currently they are seeking to recruit a Junior M&E Surveyor to be based at their headquarters in Croydon. This role will require requires some frequent trips to London to meet the operations teams to understand and agree the installation principles for each project at an early stage and survey existing buildings that are to be refurbished.
Scope of Role:
Carry out site digital surveillance of M&E construction projects and produce summative reports
Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete digital surveillance of multiple construction sites across London
  • Produce professional reports as required
  • Identify defects/progress on both Mechanical and Electrical systems
  • Read and Interpret programmes
  • Capture defects
  • Identification of installation practices
  • Control the survey software, ensuring complete utilization and expansion of its functions, along with ensuring the quality of information captured and distributed remains.

Qualification
Essential
  • 2nd Level education with strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
  • CSCS card holder
Desirable
  • 3rd level Education with strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
  • Nebosh General/Construction Certificate
Experience & Knowledge
Essential
  • Experience in M&E Construction Activities as a Surveyor
  • Highly proficient in the use of computer software systems
Desirable
  • Has previous experience at installation & commissioning stages of projects
  • Experience in the use of high-tech photo and video technology
Abilities & Skills
Essential
  • Highly developed organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Familiar with Mechanical and Electrical 1st and 2nd fix installations in both residential and commercial settings
  • Strong problem - solving skills with a tenacity to work through high volume information to resolve discrepancies that may arise
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise and advise staff at all levels
  • A professional and assertive manner to deal with external and internal inquiries
  • To be flexible and work as part of a team
  • Results focused and strives to protect and achieve their own goals and deadlines. Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
