Who we areMomentum is an integrated transport consultancy, based in London and with offices in Houston and Montreal. Our opportunityWe’re looking for talented graduates to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, based in our central-London office.From day 1 you’ll work on projects across the transport planning environment, including research, analysis, forecasting, contributions to proposals and reports.As one of our graduates you will be given targeted and specialised training and development – but also the responsibility and opportunities to work on iconic projects across London and around the world. You will have the potential to influence our search for new opportunities and winning new projects to expand the business further.

Who you areWhilst you may not have a relevant degree or work experience, you’ll be a self starter, love working in a hardworking team and have a passion for sustainable transport solutions for the future city. You’ll be forward thinking and have ideas about the challenges of the urban built environment and how to put people at the centre of our work.Specific skills and experience:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong numeracy and analysis skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Experienced in Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
• A recently completed degree or equivalent eg HNC, HND etc
• Comfortable working on large data sets
• Data and coding skills are desirable

Our opportunityWe’re looking for talented graduates to join our teams on a full-time, permanent basis, based in our central London office.  From day 1 you’ll be working with either our transport infrastructure team, or our structural team to actively contribute to design work across a variety of projects. With a flexible rotation policy, we will give you experience in both Momentum and Eidos during the early stages of your career, providing training alongside responsibility to actively contribute to iconic projects across London and around the world. As one of our graduates, you will experience a varied workload, spanning major infrastructure works, sports stadia, private developments, or complex high-rise building designs.

Who you are

You’ll be a self-starter, love working in a hardworking team and have a passion for innovative transport solutions and building design for the future city, transport and highway infrastructure engineering, and the challenges around sustainable development in the built environment. You’ll be forward thinking and have ideas about the challenges of the civil and structural design and how to put our clients, design partners and end users at the centre of our work. You will provide support to a diverse selection of projects, ranging from civil masterplans, highway design through to building structural design and delivery.

Specific skills and experience:

• A civil / structural engineering degree, or similar technical discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong numeracy and analysis skills.
• Strong analytical and critical design analysis skills.
• Experienced in using standard business software such as Microsoft Office.

Desirable skills and experience:

• Experience of using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit or Rhino.
• Experience with Finite Element analysis software, i.e. GSA, ETABS, Strand7, etc.
• Data and coding skills.
