Our client designs, develops and manufactures bespoke, high precision equipment and machinery used in the pharmaceutical industry. They are a global business with sites across the US, Europe and Asia. They are heavily involved in R&D and offering bespoke products to their customers.

Culturally, although they are a global business, it is the type of business where you walk through the doors and everyone smiles at you and wants to help. Many of the employees also have similar hobbies within engineering such as building and rebuilding cars and motorcycles so it's a nice environment to be in.

This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to grow and develop their career, you will be working closely with a senior member of the team who is retiring in the next few years, so is keen to pass on any knowledge they have about the products.

You will work in the engineering team (mechanical and electrical/control systems) supporting the programming software including Siemens S7, SCADA, HMIs and EPLAN design software. You will also work closely with the shop floor on testing and FATs - this is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your career quickly in a highly technical and innovative environment.

Qualified electrical engineer (Apprenticeship/ HNC/HND/Degree).
Experience working with PLCs, SCADA systems or HMIs either in work or university.
Experience with TIA Portal or Win CC would be beneficial.
Good hands-on experience of electrical engineering.
Knowledge of calibration and instrumentation beneficial.
Excellent communication skills.
