Trainee Application Support Analyst Lincolnshire £16k - £21k (p.a)

This is a superb, full time opportunity for a Trainee Application Support Analyst, who can grow into our client's Erwin Data Modeler software support, consultancy and pre-sales team.

Our client can offer structured training; and the concept of a Degree Apprenticeship is a real attraction for this opportunity - involvement in a degree would also offer the opportunity to experience newer technologies.

Our client can offer a clear progression plan and have already put people through Open University, usually giving a day off each week for studies and this is something they would do again for a non-graduate.

This role could also possibly suit a good, keen person out of college/Sixth Form with some maturity.

The role:

As the first point of contact for application support, you will receive and document enquiries from customers. You will be expected to search all available resources to ascertain if the same or similar enquiry has been received previously. You will engage with customers to collect further information where necessary by email, phone or web meeting.

You will use information gathered to compose an appropriate reply or route the enquiry to the appropriate person or organisation for further input or resolution.

Full training will be given on the applications to be supported and underlying technologies, but you will also be expected to familiarise yourself with those applications and to keep your knowledge current.

You will create and maintain a knowledge-base of solutions, tips and tricks in a range of formats including web articles and videos for use in responding to queries and in support of marketing activities.

As your knowledge of the applications grows, you will have the opportunity to broaden the role into pre-sales, training and consultancy assignments.

Essential Skills:
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Good analytical and creative mindset
  • Good general IT literacy
  • Ability to work unsupervised and closely with colleagues
  • Desire to continually develop knowledge and skills in support of the role
To be considered for this superb opening, please submit your application ASAP to Jackie Dean at Jumar.
