Apprenticeship Trainer/Assessor Upminster, Essex

The Academy's purpose is to provide creative insights for supply chain leaders through our supply chain experience and expertise. The Academy also offers higher level supply chain education through industry degree apprenticeships and work-based Bachelor's and Master's degrees.

JOB ROLE

We now have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our team and to participate in our business expansion.

We are seeking a trainer/assessor to develop and deliver apprenticeship standards to levels 3- 6, via a blended learning approach to client's employees. Delivery methods includes online and face to face delivery, as well as observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence. The job-holder will be expected to observe, mark, assess and review work produced by learners (along with their employer) to ensure it is of the appropriate standard reflect the learner's qualification.

There will also be an opportunity to deliver other subjects in the Academy's portfolio, throughout the UK and overseas.

This is a 'roving' role with a requirement of frequent visits to our head office in Upminster. The candidate will be supplied with a laptop and mobile phone and will be responsible for managing their own diary and travel schedule to apprenticeship workplace locations throughout England and Wales.

A company car will be provided. There may also be a requirement for international travel according to client need.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

Candidates must hold an Assessors qualification such as A1 or TAQA or D32/D33 Award and a degree level qualification.

The candidate should preferably have worked in a supply chain/logistics environment with the ability to develop and produce learning material for levels 3 to 6 supply chain standards
