The Company

Bellingham IT specialise in implementing and supporting IT solutions for businesses throughout Wakefield and Leeds. Offering a one-stop-shop of hardware, operating system and application software support, they also specialise in Cloud IT solutions.

They are now looking for an Apprentice Customer Service Technician to embark on an 15 month apprenticeship which will lead onto a Level 4 apprenticeship after successful completion.

The Role

As an Apprentice Customer Service Technician, you will take on an apprenticeship scheme that will enable you to become a highly trained and qualified technical support professional within the IT sector.

Specifically, you will learn to:

- Provide technical support, answering support queries received via email, phone or web portal
- Resolve users' IT problems and issues
- Log calls and actions and record the actions taken to resolve an issue
- Complete weekly IT health checks and backup management activities
- Support on-site IT problems
- Follow service desk processes, policies and procedures

About You

To be considered as an Apprentice Customer Service Technician, you will need:

- GCSEs at Grade C (4) or above, which must include Mathematics, English Language and Literature and Science at Grade C (or equivalent) or higher
- A BTEC Level 3 in Computing or a relevant subject
- PC hardware set up and configuration skills
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Customer service skills
- To be a methodical and strategic thinker

The start date for this role is the 21st September 2020.

Interviews are scheduled for the 3rd and 4th September 2020 with a taster session office between 7th and 11th September 2020.
