Junior Production Engineer**

My Client is an established Electromechanical Manufacture seeking a Junior Production engineer to support the Engineering Manager to ensure production is carried out in a quality, cost effective, efficient manner, as well as overseeing NPI into mainstream production.
Main duties for the Junior Production Engineer:
*Support production process requirements to give repeatability of build and thus reduce operator errors where possible.
*Ensure the correct skills, tools, jigs and fixtures are made available to fulfil the purpose.
*Produce and maintain process instruction documentation for all areas of production
*Support lean activities as used.
*Own and be accountable for the production process.
*Developing, growing and protecting the long term efficiency of production
*Managing the effective release of new products into production
*Supporting the NPD team in design for manufacture of future product releases.
*Co-ordination of all other departments for the successful transition of new products from design through to production
*Developing and implementing new production methods to increase productivity on the production line.
Skills & Experience needed to be the successful Junior Production Engineer:
*Well organised and able to work to tight deadlines
*Experience working in an Engineering Manufacturing Environment
*Problem solving and analytical skills to identify the root cause and resolve performance blockages
*Flexible and proactive in approach to the role
*Ability to work on own initiative
*Excellent communication and presentation skills
*A creative thinker with good writing skills
*Able to demonstrate evidence of ability to build relationships
*PC literate and numerate
