An award winning Apprenticeship Training Provider who are ambitious and growing quickly are looking to bring in an Engineering Apprenticeship Programme Manager on a full time basis, home based with some travel around the UK.

The purpose of the role is to be accountable for the delivery of the Engineering/Automotive Apprenticeship programme with high levels of contract management, cost control and service quality for a major client. Exceeding Client expectations is an essential part of the programme manager's role through managing programme objectives. Having a passion for people and processes you will lead a team to deliver excellence for the programme stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

· Manages day-to-day client interaction and expectations.

· Anticipates clients' needs and proposes alternative business solutions.

· Continually seeks and capitalises upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

· Possesses a knowledge base the client's business, organisation and objectives

· Grows long-term relationships all stakeholders.

· Confronts issues openly and quickly.

· Tactfully communicates sensitive information.

· Ensure all resources are managed and planned effectively within the scope of the programme deliverables.

· Provides solutions for the client through innovative and effective delivery options, including supply chain management

· Assists in the evaluation and redesign of practice offerings.

· Possesses a thorough understanding of the Apprenticeship programme, to continually evaluate and identify improved service offerings, technical preferences, and technical direction.

· Seeks to understand clients business to add impact in design and delivery of the programme.

· Implement and monitor continuous improvement through the Activate Apprenticeship quality assurance processes.

· Work with Awarding organisations.

· Assessing customer requirements and ensuring they are exceeded.

· Be the Quality Lead across the wider Engineering delivery

· Setting customer service standards

· Monitorand manage the assessment process

Qualifications and Experience:

· Minimum 2 years' experience of the government funded skills sector.

· Minimum 2 years' experience in leading and managing teams, including budget responsibility.

· Minimum 2 years' experience in delivering quality assurance within training programmes.

· Significant experience in delivering training in a business setting (Desirable)

· A project management qualification or equivalent experience of managing projects & contracts (Desirable)

· Level 4 qualification or above (Desirable)

· Quality assurance qualification and experience of delivering quality

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

· Financial acumen with knowledge of both commercial and Government funding budgeting.

· IT literate with the ability to use a variety of software e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel

· Excellent general administration skills - word processing, general office skills, telephone skills

· Ability to communicate and present competently and confidently to stakeholders of various positions

· Ability to research new technologies, methods to influence process and delivery efficiency (Desirable)

· Knowledge of awarding organisation processes (Desirable)

· Ability to manage contracts, supply chain processes
