Graduate Junior Buyer Rotherham, Yorkshire £20k - £25k (p.a)
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an Engineering and Manufacturing business based in Rotherham in recruiting a Buyer to join their Procurement team. The position is responsible for providing operational support to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team with sourcing new suppliers
- Liaise with the production and planning teams regarding lead times
- Schedule deliveries of incoming material and set up delivery schedules
- Send out purchase orders and request quotes from suppliers
- Assist with raw materials stocks
- Request suppliers quality certificates, ensuring the supplier log is up-to-date
- Update supplier vendor performance reports
- Support with month-end reporting
Elevation Business Support would be keen to speak to candidates with the following experience:
- Degree educated (desirable)
- Customer interface experience
- Purchasing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven experience of working within a Manufacturing environment
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft office programmes
- Good communication skills, both on a written and verbal level
- Being able to work within a quick pace & high-pressure environment
