Graduate/Junior Mechanical Engineer - £25K - £32k - Dorset - Oil & Gas
My client is an innovative downhole tooling manufacturer operating in the oil & gas sector. Due to continued success, they are looking for a graduate or junior mechanical engineer who's comfortable working from conception through to manufacture.
Main Duties and Responsibility:
+ Stress analysis calculations
+ Improvement of current mechanical designs
+ Supporting design of new mechanical components
+ Test build and prototyping
Skills and experience required:
+ Degree or relevant experience in mechanical engineering
+ Experience in a small to medium volume environment
+ FEA experience
+ Inventor experience desirable
+ Experience in the oil & gas sector (ideally downhole tooling) a big bonus
The salary will be between circa £25,000 - £32,000 depending on experience with the company able to offer more for the right candidate.
