Human Resources Intern

Timeline: 10 Weeks Beginning June 1st, 2020 August 7th, 2020
We are looking for a driven and motivated Human Resources Intern to join our Corporate HR department. You will participate in a paid program designed to provide you with real-world experience and prepare you for an exciting role in a corporate environment. This role is located in Phoenix, AZ.
This internship will help you acquire marketable HR skills by participating in key HR initiatives with both the client-facing HR Business Partner function as well as through interaction with the various Centers of Excellence to include Total Rewards, Internal Communications, HR Ops & Analytics and Talent Development. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in Human Resources and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

HR Internship Responsibilities:
- Project work in support of key HR strategic initiatives, to include both client-facing and Center of Excellence topics
- Research and tactical project work in multiple areas of HR (i.e. Employee Engagement, Employment Branding, HR Compliance, Onboarding)
- Interaction with CHRO and entire HR Team
- Prepare Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents
- Administrative tasks imbedded in various HR functions (documentation, recruitment, etc.)
- Regular and consistent attendance at our office location
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Strong technical skills/Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proven leadership ability
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivation
- Analytical mindset
Minimum Requirements:
- Current students with at least 80 Hours of completed course work towards Bachelors degree
- Demonstrated academic success (minimum 3.0 GPA)
- Prior work experience, co-op or internship
- Interest in career in Human Resources
