Your Role & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Intern recruiting efforts to include; advertising and posting, employer day/info session activities (pre-career fair), affinity events, career fair event planning and coordination, post-event follow up. Serves as liaison between NY locations and college recruiting.
  • Coordinates the hire of Intern and contractor staff to include; offer letters, background screening, scheduling of physicals, relocation/housing support, orientation, processing new hire documents, and preparation/maintenance of files, social events, tours, volunteer requirements
  • Processes all non-exempt time data entry/maintenance in SAP PTMW
  • Tracking site events to align with HR budget
  • Approving and submitting PCN's for safety eyeglass and shoe reimbursements
  • Responsible for maintenance of I-9's
  • Leads Lockport events committee and all Lockport and Amherst event planning activities
  • Oversees the maintenance, confidentiality and restricted access to employee information/data, personnel and medical files.
  • Ensures legal compliance with required postings.
  • Maintains/updates Organization Charts
  • Coordinates HR related onsite training
  • Track any required signed acknowledgements from employee population
  • Initiate New Hire/Transfer/Separation workflows for Intern/contract workforce
  • May be required to perform other related duties.

  • Experience with Microsoft office software (Word, Excel) required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated maturity, professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • A self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
