Our market leading client who are specialists in the manufacturing of products for the pharmaceutical industry now require a Junior Design Engineer to join their well-established team.

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - JOB DESCRIPTION
*To carry out design using AutoCAD and Solidworks for the product range
*Production of GA drawings for customer approval on contracts and sales projects
*Production of manufacturing drawings and BOMs for contracts
*Ensure all designs comply with the required contract specifications.
*Liaise with suppliers and customers as directed for the purposes of design development and approval
*Contribute proactively to the ongoing improvement of designs
MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Solidworks experience is essential
* Experience of working within a machinery and manufacturing environment
* Ability to produce manufacturing drawings and layouts for sheet metal products
* Knowledge of drawing and design standards
* Excellent IT skills - Including Microsoft Office Word and Excel
* Ability to work as part of a team and under the supervision of the Product Manager
* Pro-active approach and positive "can do" attitude
