This Engineering Company specialise in the design & manufacture of bespoke engineered solutions and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Junior CAD Engineer to join their dynamic team to support current & future growth. This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in Engineering and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.
Based within the Research & Development team, you ll be working closely with several parts of the business, with the ultimate goal of providing their customers with the best engineered solution possible. This exciting position also offers opportunity to progress within the business.
Responsibilities
3D CAD Design - Any CAD package experience considered
Revamping/Correcting previous CAD designs
Converting of hand-drawn 2D designs into 3D
Liaise with stakeholders of all levels
Create and produce high quality technical drawings
Produce BOM's
Requirements
Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (HND/HNC also considered)
Have a desire to be successful and a can-do attitude
Be able to prioritise workloads efficiently
Be good with people of differing levels
