Junior Designer - St Albans St. Albans, Hertfordshire £19k - £21k (p.a)
Think Specialist Recruitment are pleased to be working with an exciting organisation based within the St Albans area. Our client is looking for a Junior Designer to join their team. This position would suit a Graduate level candidate looking to start a career within a Design role.
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience within a creative role, an interest in developing this further, as well as good administrative skills.
Salary - £19,000-£21,000 depending on experience
Some of the duties will include:
- Design new products and packaging
- Create any PoS or marketing tools that are required for individual products or product ranges
- Be aware of what competitors are developing and selling
- Gain an understanding of target markets and costs
- Art working product designs and packaging designs
- Coordinate and build strong working relationships with various internal departments
- Brian storming and researching new ideas
- Keeping up to date and monitoring key industry events
- Assist Product Team with range launches
- Ensure rework jobs are completed within a timely manner
- Ad-hoc duties as and when required
The suitable candidate:
- An interest and flair for photography
- Creative skills
- Previous experience with Illustrator and Photoshop
- Graduate is desirable not essential
- Strong communication skills on all levels
- Previous experience within a similar position
