The Vertus team will manage all aspects of the Build to Rent assets on the Estate, as well as the initial management during the final construction programme and handover period.

The team will be based on site and will be comprised of a core group of experienced specialists and individual building management members, dedicated to the lettings and management of both the building and the apartments.This team will have a comprehensive track record of delivering excellent service and will be dedicated to meeting the needs of their customers and residents.

The Vertus team will be dedicated to providing a superlative service to residents, 24 hours a day and 365 days per year.

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Head of Lettings you will ensure that residents (tenants) have the best rental experience and consistently deliver the highest levels of customer service, becoming a Vertus brand ambassador.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responding to website, portal and telephone enquiries
  • Qualifying leads
  • Capturing source of enquiries
  • Matching prospective residents to available properties
  • Booking viewings
  • Conducting viewings
  • Obtaining feedback
  • Negotiating offers
  • Advising prospective residents of Customer Journey and requirements
  • Passing Resident over to Tenancy Management team with full information
  • Assisting with progress of tenancy progression where necessary
  • Conducting Right to Rent on prospective Residents
  • Complying with GDPR requirements

Environmental Responsibilities

All Staff are required to follow the Canary Wharf Group plc (CWG) Environmental Policies for minimisation of waste and effective energy management as defined in the CWG Environmental Manual and associated documents.

Quality Management Responsibilities

All staff are required to comply with CWG Quality Management System requirements detailed within the Company Quality Manual & Policies, and to ensure that all Procedure; Plans and Forms within InfoBase are effectively implemented to meet the set ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard.

Person Specification

  • Level 3 ARLA Qualification desirable but not essential.
  • 1 year's experience working within a property industry with an understanding of the Build to Rent market.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with a professional and friendly telephone manner.
  • It is essential that the successful candidate is target driven and works well under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Must be a team player with exceptional customer service.
  • A high level of accuracy is essential with good attention to detail and excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An honest and trustworthy individual with an exemplary track record.
