Junior Piping Designer Surrey £30k - £35k (p.a)
With increasing demand from our clients market, they have a requirement for further support in their Piping and Layout department. We are looking for a talented engineer with some industry experience to join the team as Piping Designer.
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting Lead Piping Designer on piping design projects executed the company throughout the EMEA regions. In addition to the following:-
Generating plot plans and other bid deliverables in support of proposal work shall also be part of the responsibilities.
Assist in delivering Conceptual and some final piping design packages on projects.
Providing support to other engineering centres as workload requires.
Support Bid and proposal requests as and when.
Globally mobile to support multi-centre execution and project support.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
HNC in Mechanical with piping design experience
Must be familiar with an engineering organisation, the function of each discipline and how they interact and the function of the various support groups.
Hands on experience of SP3D Piping software and associated modules
Should have experience of developing basic and detailed plant layouts
Experience of both Pipe supporting and Piping stress work process
Experience and knowledge to effectively communicate issues and ideas effectively.
Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills
Experience ideally with multi-centre execution of projects.
Must be familiar with an engineering organisation, the function of each discipline and how they interact and the function of the various support groups.
