Junior Software Developer C# - Remote London £55k (p.a)

Are you a junior .Net developer interested in working on cloud-based systems in a modern development environment? Do you enjoy working from home but like the idea of having the option of working in an office? Are you interested in event driven systems?

The business I am currently recruiting for are a very profitable comparison website looking to increase their market share. This means an expansion of their development team for 2 reasons. The increased volumes mean they need to improve current systems in place for build, deployment and monitoring. New regulations mean they will need to replace a legacy batch processing application with a system capable of real time event streaming.You will report directly into an experienced engineering manager and will be helping with both the challenges above.

As it stands now you probably have a few years of .Net under your belt and will be the kind of developer who wants to own their code all the way into production. You will ideally have worked on a major cloud platform before (theirs is AWS). You will be interested in things like event driven architecture and real time data streaming.

The role offers very flexible working practices and developers are free to decide how much time they spend in the office. The office is based between Waterloo and London Bridge. The last person I placed in this role lives in Bath and plans to come into London no more than once a month.
