Junior WordPress Developer Colchester, Essex

Our Client is looking for an up and coming Web developer to add to their growing team.

Knowing that the key to a productive team is a happy team, they operate with an ethos conducive to creativity.

The team is centred in Colchester but the majority of tasks can be undertaken remotely.

knowledge and experience of the following is essential:

• HTML
• CSS
• Javascript / jQuery
• Responsive web design, grid systems and frameworks such as Bootstrap
• PHP
• MySql
• Wordpress
• Wordpress custom theme development
• Ability to write clean and reusable code
• Cross-browser development and accessibility

Experience and knowledge of the following is desirable:

• Wordpress plugin development
• Advanced Custom Fields for Wordpress
• Magento
• Woocommerce
• Shopify
• Knowledge and understanding of Domain Management, DNS and Email Account Management
• Cloudflare
• Experience using Version control (Git)
• Understanding of Command Line interface, CRON Jobs
• Usage of CSS Preprocessors
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
