Job Title: (Junior) Legal Counsel

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support the Legal Department in relation to various pieces of work, projects, initiatives and processes. The Legal Department supports a wide range of areas within the London organisation, including in particular ICE Futures Europe (a recognised investment exchange) and ICE Clear Europe Limited (a recognised clearing house and central counterparty).

Work would be varied including Rules queries and drafting, contractual arrangements, licensing structures, product launches, regulatory analysis and support, and providing assistance to the Regulatory, Membership, Finance, HR and product development areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To perform various administrative and legal tasks, including negotiation, drafting, processing, research and business support in a UK and cross-jurisdictional context
• To participate in various projects and build organisational knowledge

Knowledge and Experience

• English (or equivalent) qualified lawyer; can be with overseas experience
