IT Infrastructure Apprentice Middlesbrough, Yorkshire £10k (p.a)

Industrial Technology Systems Ltd. (ITS) are an independent automation systems integrator currently looking to expand their ever growing team, through the addition of an IT Apprentice. The apprentice will be joining their specialist team at their Middlesbrough based office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to start their career as a first line support technician. The right candidate will be passionate about IT and have excellent communication skill.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Working within a 1st Line support role within an IT team
  • Supporting employees that work remotely
  • Operating the ticketing systems
  • Setting up Networks and Servers
  • Building Servers/Workstations for Clients
  • Maintaining Hardware within the company

Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by both Baltic Apprenticeships and ITS.

Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge:

  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Desire to have a career in IT essential
  • Must show maturity and honesty in all tasks undertaken
  • Passion for the IT sector
  • Grade 4/C GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2 Maths


Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £9750 per annum
  • Mon- Thurs Core Hours 9:30am-4:30pm Friday 9:30am-12:30pm (Flexi hours)
  • 20 day holiday plus Bank Holidays rising to 22 days holiday after 1 years' service and then 25 days holiday after 3 years' service.

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.
